‘Viva George Alvarez’ Campaign Video

George Alvarez, an insurgent candidate running in the 79th Assembly District, posted a fiery spoken word endorsement performed by Joseph Ball. The video ends with “viva this, viva that” and finally “Viva George Alvarez!”

Presumably, viewers will know to vote for Mr. Alvarez… But when and where?

In the professionally shot video, “One Bronx for All,” young Mr. Ball, who makes it a point to identify himself as African American, raps about growing up in the Bronx and the need for greater opportunity. The video also takes a dig at those who say that the assembly district should be represented an African American.

The video will run online and on TV, presumably on News12 and other cable channels.
