Campaign Trail: “Michael Blake’s Change Agenda” Mailer

SCAN0002-Education MailerInsurgent Bronx Assembly candidate Michael Blake filled 79 AD mailboxes with his second 4-color mailer of the campaign season. While the first brochure was essentially a biographical piece, this current mailer focuses on education.

SCAN0007-Education Mailer_P3The brochure tells how education “unlocked doors” for Blake and how improving local schools will provide access to college and good jobs for young people.

SCAN0006-Education Mailer_P1The piece includes recent endorsements by the Amsterdam News, 1199SEIU and NY Communities for Change.

SCAN0008-Education Mailer_P4The four-page English/Spanish brochure ends saying, “Good schools put our children on the path to a good future.”

With a nod to the environment, the flyer urges readers to “please recycle after reading.” (Jokes about various uses for recycled political flyers are bouncing around in my head.)

None of Blake’s erstwhile opponents, including Marsha Michael who is backed by the County Democratic organization, have begun mailing.

The Democratic Primary is Tuesday, September 9.
