POLITICO Arena: Is Palin right about the media?

POLITICO Arena – Is Palin correct to say that the media has been unfair in its coverage of the GOP presidential race?

BENJAMIN: Is Palin “right” about the media? Apparently, she thinks any media reporters aside from her sycophants and conservative infotainers are leftists. Otherwise, former Alaska Governor Palin is wrong about current affairs, anything involving facts or basic knowledge or basic proper syntax.

It’s sad that Fox News continues to prop up this failed national candidate and governor who bailed out on her Alaska neighbors in pursuit of silk, sycophants and celebrity.

Sarah Palin is sadly emblematic of our declining national standards of merit, excellence, intelligence, and comity. She and Todd should mount their matching snowmobiles and ride off into the aurora borealis together. And out of our national consciousness — forever.

One Response to POLITICO Arena: Is Palin right about the media?

  1. Dale Benjamin Drakeford says:

Agreed, but we are the nation of Not-Reality TV, Idol Worship, Sound Bites and Not-Delayed Satisfaction. Palin is the poster girl for our cultural icon preoccupation. She is right there with that Snookie clan and that “Kalamity” family with fake weddings, skin and nightmares. Too many Americans eat it up as their choice alternative to facing the truth about themselves. For those of us that do not, the truth is not so horrible as it is challenging. Palin (and her script card) is part of the challenge. Meet it!
